DR. MICHAEL BANG, ROCKLAND COUNTY AND HUDSON VALLEY DENTIST
Dr. Bang is a general and cosmetic dentist, and he has been practicing dentistry since 2011. He received a bachelor of science degree with Highest Distinction in biochemistry with minor in Mathematics from Indiana University at Bloomington. He was inducted to Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society. Then, he received his doctor of dental surgery degree from the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He also completed his general practice residency at University of Michigan Health System.
Almost every weekend, Dr. Bang spends many hours on continuing education for better patient care. He is certified with Invisalign, Hiossen Implant System and Laser Therapy Class. He also completed prestigious Continuing Education classes including Comprehensive Implantology Continuum at Columbia University Restorative & Esthetic Dentistry Conference at the University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health and EDS endodontic courses. He also completed Surgical implant courses offered by Montifiore Hospital in Bronx. Dr. Bang already completed +500 hrs of continuing education classes.
Dr. Bang now resides as a practicing dentist in Pomona, Rockland County and is currently a member of the Acamedy of General Dentistry ( AGD ).

Dr. Michael Bang truly enjoys dentistry because it gives him an opportunity to give back to the world by turning frowns upside down using the latest and greatest dental techniques. He truly enjoys the challenge presented that each individual brings to the table – as we are all unique. He also wants to see every patient as his own family members and accommodate patient’s busy life schedules.
Dr. Bang also puts emphasis on post-care for better maintenance. He continues to stay on top of the best practices and equipment being used in the industry today - adjusting his own dental office as often as possible to reflect any changes.
Dr. Bang was also serving as volunteering dental staff for White Plains Hospital for few years.
IN HIS FREE TIME
In his free time, Dr. Michael Bang loves spending time with his family, dining at new restaurants, volunteering to share his dental knowledge with the less privileged in Greater New York area, staying in shape, as well as learning new exciting recipes to share with his family!
About Our Practice
Our office has been serving for Rockland County area since early 90’s when Dr. Khavari who is an original founder of New City Dental started his office in New City. In mid 90’s He relocated his office to Pomona from New City but He kept same practice name until his retirement from Dentistry in 2018. Although we are located in Pomona, Dr. Bang did not change the name of practice because he wants to keep same work ethics as Dr. Khavari provided for his patients : enthusiam, emphathy and same philosophy when it comes to provide the best dental cares for his patients.
As a general dentist who is a primary care dental provider, Dr. Bang diagnoses, treats and manages your overall oral health care needs, including periodontal ( gum ) care, root canals, fllings, crowns, veneers, bridges as well as orthodontics, Oral Surgery and teeth whitening.
